Colorado State Coachs Wife Uses 1-Word Slur On Shedeur Sanders

Colorado’s football season didn’t end the way Deion Sanders and Co. likely hoped it would, but it certainly started with a bang.

One of the standout games the Buffaloes participated in came against Colorado State. They wound up winning that one in overtime, thanks to some late heroics from quarterback – and coach’s son – Shedeur Sanders.

This week, Colorado State head coach Jay Norvell’s wife, Kim, went after Shedeur in a really unexpected way.

Kim wound up deleting the tweet not long after posting it, but obviously nothing on the internet is ever truly gone:

Using the b-word slur on a 21-year-old is definitely a choice. Sure, he is dating a 28-year-old model right now, but he is still just a kid.

You will recall, the beef between Colorado and Colorado State initially popped off when Jay called Deion out for the way he wore his sunglasses when doing interviews and whatnot.

“When I talk to grownups, I take my hat and my glasses off,” he said at the time. “That’s what my mother taught me.”

Deion, for obvious reasons, didn’t take kindly to that.

“You was talking about my mama, dog,” Deion said to Jay after the game.

The Buffaloes ended up winning that outing 43-35.

Clearly bygones aren’t exactly bygones in this particular matter, though.

The Norvell family apparently doesn’t like how they were treated by the Sanders Clan – and they haven’t forgotten.

Why did Kim bother deleting the tweet after sending it? That part is unclear. Maybe the backlash was too severe. Perhaps it was something else.

Either way, it didn’t work.

Will Colorado and Colorado State turn into one of college football’s biggest rivalries as a result of this continued friction between the Sanders and Norvell families? Time will tell.
